I was working under a family member last year as a broker, but I was using the family members information. Well, I stopped because I was making lots of connects and not getting paid. I still have people that I connected calling the family members only wanting to work with me. How do I now do the same thing for someone else or another company? I have a good track record, and no license etc. |

First you have to learn the lingo. You are not a Broker, you are an agent. Huge Difference. You need to know what you are talking about before anyone will talk with you about a position. Then you go and contact Brokers that have a good MC# and a good Credit Rating. I would not go with huge Brokerage that has quotas and will take your customers from you. Do your Homework. Then you contact your customers and see if they will follow you to a new Broker to work for. Explain why you are making the move. Most will follow if they like you |
