Mr Broker in Chicago, Illinois

Yellow Freight is near bankruptcy. Jevic Transportation went out of Business. Greatwide filed for bankruptcy. Others went out. 10,000 trucks were repoed at a time. Is anyone scared about the way things are going? I am not. Should you? The weak will die. The strong will buy. I was visiting a good buddy at Smith and Wolinski's in Downtown Chicago. He is the traffic manager for a fortune 500 company which I move freight for. He said that the majority of large companies are hurting. Freight Brokers should always have capacity. Why are brokers doing good? Because the trucks are in contracts that are tough to get out and they have huge overhead. Now to you agents, if all you need is a phone, fax, and internet access, why can't you make it? Well, stop working in your pajama's and start thinking about this job through business eyes. Start writing down people you know and who they may know. My list is 3024 long. All within the polish community. My grandfather came over and had a printing press off of Diversy. Orthodox polish people stick together. I am illistrating a point. This business is about relationships. Not kickbacks, under the table deals. It is whoy you know. For example, my neighbor owns a cleaning business that cleans many buildings downtown Chicago. Through his connection, I go three large freight accounts in Chicago. I will be the #1 broker in the USA within 10 years.
