Hi, I've been an agent for 4yrs and make 5.5% of the linehaul dollar. Does anyone know who will put on agents at a better rate of pay?? Thanks.

A couple questions to ask here....Are you an independent agent - working out of your house/office and use all of your own phones/fax/copier etc? Or using the company office and their supplies and equipment? The 5.5% is that on the total sale or working from a profit stance? Big question is will you have your own shippers/customers. Thats all these companies want you for. Thanks

If i made 5.5% on the total gross/ line haul i would be makeing pretty darn good money. Thats if i get 5.5% of the total gross of all the loads i do.

Did you receive a salary and and % of line haul, you could start you own agency which has a profit split could be 40/60 or 50/50
