Hello. I am an agent & have been 3.5 yrs now. If you want to dispatch trucks, just sign up for a load board. InternetTruckStop.com or 123loadboard.com ro transcore ... there will be plenty of loads listed. You will very quickly find out who has the better paying loads & you will develop relationships with those companies & agents. To dispatch you simply need your agreement with the truck in terms of what he is paying you, and then you need the ability to find a load. You'll need a fax machine to receive the confirmation from the customer and receive documents from trucks. Just take on one or two for now, you'll feel your way around okay. Details matter on dispatch so don't forget a thing when dispatching. Our job is to make the truck's life easier - it's tough trying to run your life from a 8'x8' box! Good Luck!!!!

I guess I will look on what I can find on ITS. How do I speak on the phone with the people in this feed. To me you call and call on the phone. I did not think that I could find shippers on ITS, just brokers and agents posting.

Hello, I understand what you are saying because I am somewhat in the same situation, so there is what I suggest: We could exchange Skype Ids for the purpose to put together a support group of about 5-10 people. The idea would be to discuss things, have support and also possibly share resources. The last part is more tricky, but it depends on the people. At least we can explore.

Strange but true sir.If my experience stands out and is something your interested,I'm available. Thank you for your time

I would be very interested in learning any and all about the business. I need a stay at home job to take care of my mother. I have fax, phone and laptop. I have a owner-operator who would love to have me find loads for him AND he has lots of friends. I'm great at giving directions and getting back to people in a timely manner which i know is important. please contact me at scoreleo@yahoo.com (sharon, sarasota, fl)
Thanks so much.
