I've been out of school with a Masters for three years and have decided to look into getting a job at an oil company. How do I get HR to look at my resume (for an entry level position) without a recruiter?

Entry level jobs for geologist in major oil and gas companies are usually done in the Fall and Spring when schools are letting out. you can apply for internships/entry level jobs then. usually they are rotational positions where you get to experience different departments. Apply on their websites or you can talk with recruiters that do on campus visits.
