What are typical web designer salaries? Do some companies pay a lot more for this position than others? What does a top earner make in this field? What skills should you learn to increase your salary? |

I'm a web designer and living in NYC for five years. What I earn there is $6000 with working 370 hours a month! But here in Naxcivan that I have come two weeks ago to see my parents, web designers earn $3 a hour so it changes for the place of your services being served. |

I'm a certified web designer. However, the company I work for uses me as the one who masters all web issues and my job title is web master. It's real and it's a joke. I have 4 year + experiences and I got paid for $14.5/hour which is about $30,160/year. I don't know who else is getting paid lower than this price to work in one of the highest cost cities in the US. Starbucks part time employees are paid for about $12.00 with better benefit and insurance I think. After paying for my daughter's pre-school tuition and baby sitting, I'm broke. |
