I have two separate questions. 1.) Would a laser center looking for Esthetician with a year of training consider a Cosmetology license with a year training styling etc.? I know the program for skin is more in depth with hours and therefore looks more specialized. Also.. granted as Esthetician will be studying skin, not styling hair for the year which is most likely all they are looking for. Will employers be willing to allow you to go back to school for that Esthetician training and work your hours around this?
2.) After you obtain your cosmetology license, there is an instructor course you can go back and take. Is this worth it? Are there many of these types of openings around? How much does an instructor get paid? I am assuming salary? No College needed ?
