Does anyone know if there is much difference between the Milady 2012 and 2008?

I just purchased the 2012 and am wondering if I would be okay getting the supplemental books from 2008, since they cost much less generally than the 2012.

there is no difference in the substance of the book. I am currently in cosmo school and my instructor just receieved a copy of the 2012 edition. The main difference I noticed is the picture quality and illustration. I am still using the 2008 edition and the wording is pretty much the same. Little has changed.
