I've been trying for years to get that bed head, casual look, is there a particular product that will do that for me?
or is it a combination of products/techniques?
you can check this picture of chris cornell for what I'm going for...
thanks!

Your kidding, right.

Come to think of it, I'm a fool for replying to this forum.

Good Luck with the hairdo dude.

If your hair cut is cut like this and is textured you can use any line of product like hair paste. Each product line has their own. Try Bed head products or Fudge products or schwarszkopf fiber gum and just grab peices and twist the hair up and the same on the sides. If they let you sample in salon you can stretch the paste between your fingers and see it gummy between your fingers, that should work just fine. hope this helps

thats great, thanks alot for your help. I am using some bed head mastermind now, I'm liking it alot but I want a softer feel (my hair feels too tough and stiff now) can you recommend a version of paste that gives it a more natural, softer hold?

I suppose I should get my hair textured, (i've been cutting my own hair for the last year with decent results, but I'm no stylist)

You need it textured, or at least some of the weight out of it with thinning shears.

If you want a style like that to last all day you really can't go with something softer hold. Maybe a gel/wax hybrid product but something softer = sacrifice in hold, period.
