hi my name is noelle a. i am presently seeking an agency thats pay rate is from $11.00 and up. would like to work hours from early morning to evening hours preferrably 8am - 4pm mon - fri and weekends as well. i also drive so commuting is not a problem. i reside in the bronx and would prefer cases in the bronx but i am not fussy. thanks

I'm looking for free hha training in lower westchester or bronx/manhattan. I start lpn school this fall and want to get training that lasts for 2-3 weeks since I work and would like to receive my certificate right after completion and not have to wait a few months. Thanks

I'm Lorraine from Brooklyn there is a free HHA classes given atan agency called Americare on Neptune Ave. and Coney Isand Ave. It is in a good neighborhood and located in a beautiful big Medical building right on the corner. I just applied there yesterday filled out the application and will start classes in October the hours of training are 9am-3 or 4:30 - 9:pm and there is only a 30>00 charge dor the book

IF YOU LOG ONTO THE NYS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, YOU CAN GET A LIST OF OVER ONE HUNDRED ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBERS FOR FACILITIES OFFERING THE HHA TRAINING, MOST ARE FREE!!! GOOD LUCK ON YOUR SEARCH.

FOR THOSE THAT WANT TO TAKE UP HOME HEALTH AID LEHMAN COLLEGE IN THE BRONX IS COIMING UP WITH THE PROGRAM THEY ARE JUST WAITING FOR THE STATE TO APPOVE OF IT AND SUPPOSE TO BE OR SHOULD BE STARTING IN JANUARY. I AM ONE WHO WILL BE ATTENDING!!

There is no mention weather they are free or not but you can simply call and ask. GOOD LUCK

I work as an recruiter at a home health agency. Training rarely makes a difference in pay or job security unless you are training to become a CNA. If its free, it couldn't hurt. If not, don't waist your money.
