I just retired from the military. I was a Recruiter for 7 yrs. intrested in the HR generalist. Does my work experience qualify me, or should I be looking for something in the HR/Recruiting.

I am ex-military also. If you don't mind me asking, what was your MOS?

As a generalist, you will be doing a lot more than recruiting. The first thing that I would say is learn the labor laws of your state. Get a HR handbook from a company and if you have any questions, google it.

Check out the requirements for a recruiter and the requirements for an HR generalist. You should be able to see what you are qualified to pursue.
