The hiring manager does not have an HR background, he didn't even know what SHRM stood for. More importantly, the first thing out of his mouth was the fact that Jackson Spalding only hires, "young people right out of college."

It is illegal for any company to discriminate on the basis of age. You should file a complaint with the EEOC.
