I have worked in Data Management for 10+ years and I want to pursue a career in HRIS. I minored in HR Management in graduate school and completed a Payroll Accounting program; getting hands-on experience in ADP for Windows and Peachtree Payroll Solutions. For the last 3 years, I'
ve been unsuccessful in finding an HRIS opportunity because I do not have enough "working experience" in that field for most employers. It is very frustrating because my technical background and analytical skills are transferable into this field and I see no reason why I can't work in HRIS. Can anyone give some constuctive and positive feedback?

By reading your comments, I think you're over qualify and they can't afford someone of your skill sets. I agree that you do have very qualifiable transferable hardskills. HRIS is not has hard as people think, especially for your level of experience.
