My boyfriend is looking to change his career and wants to work in the Hvac field. He told me that you can work as an assistant and get paid for it and at the same time work to get your certification, but where do we begin looking if you can please help me out with this information we would really appreciate it.
P.S. We will be moving to South jersey in the next 3 months if we can get information for out there it would be even better for me.

Some schools are better than others, Two schools here in the Charlotte,NC area are Rowan-Cabarrus Community College and CPC. Both schools have a two year degee program as well as a diploma program. And both schools give you plenty of lab time to work on live equipment not just some made up board or something but real equipment. If you want to get into this industry its good you have your EPA card if that's what your speaking of. As far as employers you might try www.hvacagent.com. you can go there and fill out a profile and they will match you with employers in that area.
