Sounds like you need to go ahead and go to job search engines ie.HVAC agent .com, monster .com,careerbuilder.com and fillout a job provile with your intrest you have. I would recomend HVAC agent.com first. All you do is fill in the info. and they automatically submit your information to various employers, if the employer strikes an intrest in the info they will call you. I would highly recomend you go ahead and do that now. Best of luck to you |

It's kinda like welfare, once you get in it's hard to get out. It sucks. Hard work, lousy hours, no advancement. I did it for 20 yrs. The industry is FULL or morons & slobs. I would rethink it young man, Seriously. |

Yes its true there are slobs in this field and the work is hard phiscal work at times, but I have worked harder with the same slobs for alot less money. My advice is keep your head up and you do whats right.Dont be a follower of the slobs stand out do the right thing be a leader. The Bible says "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;and lean not to thine own understanding.

This field is truly stuck in the 60s. I agree. Lousy work conditions, pay, benefits (if you're non union). Virtually no advancement opportunity! Want proof? Try moving up in your company. I challenge you to not feel a bit let down to put it nicely. Once you develope some skill, companies tend to keep their top techs in the field. Try putting in for a position up the ladder and you will see what im talking about. I hate this goddamn field and would like nothing more than to travel back in time and shoot my 18 year old ass!!! |
