Consider becoming an independent insurance agent. It's tough getting started in some respects but a great long term career.

I talked with another life insurance agent about this recently. We laughed because no one ever starts out in life to be in insurance. But it's a great career, a great opportunity for the right person. YOu have to be able to wear many hats, balance many different demands.
