I am new to the profession and still finishing my degree. We just had a baby and are looking to move to another city closer to friends and family. Can I expect to enjoy a good interior design career in Southern Florida, Detroit Metro or Pittsburgh Pa? These areas are our options and we are having a tough time deciding. I don't want my career to be limited nor my creativity (I am already aware that concessions must be made to client preference).
Thanks,
Brandi

My daughter graduated with an Batchelors in Interior Design and lives in Pittsburgh. There are no jobs out there for interior designers. She works for a large chain and sells flooring. Good luck.

Maybe you thought the training to become a designer would cost too much or take too long. Traditional design schools are expensive and take 2-4 years to complete. In this one-of-a-kind, coaching and training program you will learn:
- How to charge, estimate and collect for your services
- A step-by-step guide to building a successful staging business

- Contracts, memberships and start-up tools included
In this tough economy, home sellers are looking to Stager's across the country to help them redesign their properties for faster sale and higher offers.
