Are there industry standards for working with various resources for products used in decorating homes and offices? Do you expect a discount? wholesale prices? personal service? free samples?

If you want to show a client a sample of a set of dishes, for example, do you expect a vendor to send you a dish for free? What about single items like vases, figurines, etc.?
