I get a lot of great info on this topic from the Decorators' Alliance of North America (DANA). It seems the hottest areas are Green design, re-design, and reconstruction. |

Wow that's great site and I didn't expect there to be so many benefits. I would have to agree. green design is the way to go these days. Maybe not so much reconstruction and remodeling anymore. Since people don't want to shell out the big bucks for those kind of projects. With the market being so chaotic it may be awhile. Re-design and staging on the other hand should be on the up and up. Because it's cheap it doesn’t cost anything for the client except for the cost of the service. And repurposing existing pieces is a great way to revitalize a home. |
