Hi everyone, I am a recent interior design graduate who are new in New York Metro Area. I been looking for job postings on Craigslist, ASID Job Bank, IIDA Job Bank, Indeed, Monster, Career Builders,archinect.com, and interiordesignjobs.sellisp.com. In additions, I also join Arch4Humanity, and NY Cares, hoping to meet more people. So far with very little lucks. I am also planing to just go give-out my resumes on designer's office which is listed HERE. Is this a good idea? and where Can I find smaller companies in NYC? I feel like I can do more and learn more in smaller company. Do all showrooms have designer or depends? I would really appreciated if anybody can give some pointers for new graduates like me on where to go to look for jobs and opportunities. Thank you all for comments and suggestion in advance. |
