I recently expressed interest in leaving the company. The company asked if I would stay if they supported a transfer. I found an accountant position I was interested in. I have been trained on the program that is used and I am doing similar general ledger work on my team. The 1st and last thing the interview wanted to express was that there are several external and two internal candidates that have degrees and this position is very competative. I do not have a degree...was this really necessary for her to tell me? |

As an applicant, you shouldnt have been told about the qualifications of other appliucants or even that there were other applicants. Report that person to his/her supervisor. Interveiwing skills are not that persons cup of tea. Mistakes like that in an interview are the stuff lawsuits are made of. |
