These positions will oversee
professional internal auditing work
while conducting financial, compliance,
and performance audits and other
studies of City departments and
contract providers. These working

auditing work, lead and be responsible

Conducts financial, compliance, and
performance audits and other studies of City
departments and contract providers.
Monitors audits of overall City operations to
include processes and or procedures
including accounts, contracts, grants and
funds, or agency departments/sections to
appraise the efficiencies of accounting,
financial and other administrative controls.
Develops or modifies work plans, methods
and procedures, determines work priorities
and develops work schedules to provide
adequate staff coverage.
Provides work instruction and assists
employees with difficult and/or unusual
assignments; encourages innovation.
Resolves problems and mediates conflicts
encountered during daily operations
