1] Confidence
The team lead should be confident about himself so that he can deal with his manager, client team and the fellow team members.
If he is not confident then he will create a room for others which will force him to imply their decision and yet be responsible for those things which are not from his brain.

2] Humanity
IT field is very different than other fields like manufacturing. Here you should respect your fellow members and take out best from them. If any resource is good in work but have attitude then moving him out of team is not always a wise move.Because he is doing good in his job but there is ego clash then you should think about your growth and let him/her do whatever he/she wants his edo, attitude.

3] Technically Good
There is no other choice. Your team members are observing you.
It is possible that a new joiner ASE might be knowing something more than you. But he should not get an impression of superiority. How you manage to do this will measure your skill.
