Do you have any tips to help prepare for an upcoming kindergarten teacher interview?

Are there common interview questions that come up again and again?

frequently asked questions at interviews:

1. How would you deal with a child (biter, puncher) in your classroom?

2. What is your favorite subject to teach?

3. strengths and weaknesses as a teacher....

I would talk to the student and his parents about biting and come up with a plan together. That way the parent knows , understands, and is in agreement with how it is being handled.
Favorite Subject? Writing. I love watching the progression of spelling and watching their little minds unfold on paper.
My strenths: Compassion for the children, classroom organization and mangement, I make learning fun!
Weaknesses: I am a bit of a worrier. I over think things.

Look like a kindergarten teacher when you go to the interview....not a stripper. No bleach blonde hair, no high heels, no short skirt, etc.

I saw the topic and it made me think of a list of Children’s Books That Didn’t Sell. One of the titles was “Curious George and the High Voltage Fence.” Hopefully, this humor brightens your job search. Good luck.
