Hi everyone, Just wanted to let everyone know about an LPN refresher course I found out about today. Its for RN's, but they will accept LPN's also. It's in Newark at the Rutger's campus for Nursing, in New Jersey. . They'll send you an admissions packet by email. I can't put in the phone #, so you'll have to look it up. Good Luck!!

I'm looking for a way to reinstate my lpn lic. In La. I read where state board accepted South Dakota university's online program as a refresher course. Does anyone know anything about this and does anyone have any info as to where I get started

I have been a licensed practical nurse for five years. I have NEVER been able to get any steady work. I am maintaining my license because you never know, but I am going to try moving on to get my RN. I have two other jobs trying to make ends meet. I have a coworker who has been a registered nurse for five years, but never really practiced because she wanted to be home when her kids were little. She maintained her license. She went out about three months ago and got
A job. She got regular hours in a facility after not having practiced for five years.
I have tried to keep up on new things and I do my CME's.I try to keep my skills fresh. I am getting disCourage's with the LPN. I can't make a living.
