I have 25 years experience in manual and CNC machining, but do you think I can find a job? They are very scarce right now. Does anyone out there know of any openings?

Ok its real easy to get in here and Complain, if anyone has more reason to do so its is I. Ive held a Dozen jobs in 36 yrs as a machinist How did I know more than 1/2 of them would fold up and go out of business?? Its been a fact of life here in Portland Ore what use to be 3 and 1/2 full yellow pages of machine shop listings is now a page and a half. if your 50 or over its kinda hard to start over. There is work out there you just have to be persistent and know that the Employment agencies have all the listings now.
