I just got my license to be a massage therapist, and I am looking for a job. I remembered at my school they mention Massage Envy and Massage Heights, saying that it is a good place to start. That and if we do work there, we might get some creeps as clients. I read a lot of things about Massage Envy on this site, and I was wondering if Massage Heights was any better. |

I have that same question actually. I avoided ME after what i read, but is MH any different? The people seem nicer there, but it seems that way most the time from the outside. |

Yes.. Massage Heights is much better than Massage Envy. Just make sure you keep your mouth shut, and never complain about assembly line massage. Also, if you want to be recognized as a great therapist just listen to your clients comments. You will never be promoted and you will have to fight for a raise and quite possibly get screwed out of any bonus of any kind. At this establishment in West Des Moines, whatever your lead therapist says goes. You do not have a voice! So... hope this helps with your decision. |

Clubkey Offshore vacancies exist now solely for the uninitiated and having a positive mental attitude is also helpful with mountaineering experience so we can always scale buildings at night to get to see the clients irrespective of where they may be hiding from us. We offer a basic wage and commission, if you can survive on the basic wage you might see the commission however like our investments there is no guarantee. We try to be honest and the boss called Ronnie will always shout at you with his extra large string vest whilst he parades about in his small council house yelling obscenities at all that pass by . |

I am a director of a Massage Heights. Our therapists are very happy at our retreat. Starting pay is $15 per hour. Average tip is $10 for the hour, and additional income is made if the client gets hot stones, foot scrub, or a hot towel cold stone facial. Most of our therapist earn on average $30 per hour. |

Hi, I am a male and have worked for 2 Massage Envys (iowa and Myrtle Beach) and 1 massage heights. MH is muuuuuuuch better than ME. Reason? ME has been around longer, and Heights has enhanced what ME offers. They offer more serene experiences, better packages, more little touches for the client, better CEU's and insurance from day 1 (expensive, but offered). It is just like someone went to ME, and then made the changes that they felt werent working, and offering more services to the client. They offer more perks for their employees, contests, and will share stats on how everyone is doing. MH will have a cabi in the room with hot towels in case you want to use one, and free aromatherapy, which are added costs for the client at ME. ME seems to have gotten away from massage, offering facials, selling items and such. There is much better communication between staff and MT's at Heights, friendlier management and real people who care at the desk...ME will hire anyone who fills out an app. GO TO HEIGHTS ! |
