I just got my masters degree in mechanical engineering in August and have been looking for work since late May. I live in Texas and would like to stay in Texas. I'm not having much success finding a job. I've gotten one interview, but that was at a career fair. While I didn't do any co-ops or internships(I worked my way through college), I did work 2 years as a research assistant doing research for a company in the private sector while I was working on my masters degree. Anyone have any advice on where I might have some success finding a job? Where should I be looking other then job boards like monster?
