If i could take it all back I would. I did not ask the right questions before enrolling into school. I never asked how many students get hired after graduation, and at what rate. Make sure you talk to the students and teachers. At my school Tidewater Tech many students wished they never went here because the teachers couldn't teach and the students couldn't stop talking. We didn't get any traning on how to set up exam rooms, and every time we had serious answers about our careers it was always, "You'll get experience on the job!" So many teachers went off the subject and by the time it was time to teach the bell ranged. I'm so tired of hearing all these commercials about becomming a ma, they really should be saying don't become a ma become a nurse with a better opportunity. Don't let these schools sell you a dream without checking into it, cause I was really sold a dream and now I'm paying 20,000.00 for it. What a hard lesson to pay! (MAN I HOPE I GET A JOB SOON) |

I feel the same way, that it was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I am basing that on just 2 things-never found a job, and have a loan to pay off for several years. Funny, but those in my class that did get jobs will tell themselves and others that it WAS worth it-even though they have the same big bill to pay and have not made much of a dent in it over the past few years. Even if you find a job,it will probably not pay much and you will still have a lot to pay off for a very long time. Good luck. |
