We all need to have a network,
Gather everyone with the same
sitiuations and attack the department of education.
I am sick and tired to all the advertisement on T.V. and news about going to school to become a medical assistant and have a rewarding career but in reality, their is no job out there for us.
this evil corporation must be stop and we need the justice that we deserved.
They are luring the public with their filthy lies to trapped everyone with pointless tuition fees. it is a complete rubbish!!!
Do you agree?
They are also using the students to conduct a free labor that what they called,
Externship.
perhaps you finally graduated....
most jobs are looking for years of experienced or bilingual in spanish.
I guess my english is not good enough to be considered for an employment in this country anymore.
Once we built our army of truth,
we can also shut down the agencies that are buying all the jobs out their for us.
It took so much blood,time,lives,
and sacrifices for this country.
I love America so much.....
we can't let this filthy,sick,
greedy, traitors to do this to our country and her good people.
We must fight our rights as an american to throw away the bad, smelly, rotten tomatoes that are poisoning our country and the society.

We are not criminals......
We are not sordid, malicious, sick perverted people.......
We are not gangsters.....
We are not terrorist.....
we are not illigals......
and We are not a problem......
We are the good people of America.....
We are the solution.
We are entitled as an American to have the rights and freedom.
And this is my solution.

We are good people,

SHIELDS OF AMERICA.

Your crazy.
I went to school for medical assisting and got a great job at a urgent care office 1 month after I graduated. There are some awesome colleges out there. There were only 2 girls in my class that I don't think are placed yet, but they have attitude and missed a ton of class and no employer is going to hire someone without skill and with a chip on their shoulder. You get what you put into things sometimes. I feel really bad for the people that have worked hard to complete a MA program and still don't have jobs. If you went to a accrediated college they should have a placement office and trained people to help you.

I had no problem getting a job. I had offers while doing my externship. And I was working before graduation. I love the company I work for and my school will assist u with job placement if needed. But not everybody is as lucky as u and i with finding a job.
Alot of people expect to get a job with top pay and sometimes we need to humble ourselves and get our foot in the door. Get the experience we need them aim high.

Yea I went to school and it was Cleveland Institute of Dental and Medical Assistants I got the RMA 92 was my score you needed 70 to pass and 100 was a perfect score and yes i did go to all the hospitals, urgent care 12 temp agencies and bugged the hell out of the placement director called every week for over two years and still nothing I had the skills and they wanted job experience and i could not get hired on my externship because it was the free clinic and they don't hire people oh yea did I mention i have a BA communications and AA Business Mangagement and could not get a job any where even washing dishes this is from the great state of Ohio so yea there may be one or two of you who got jobs but the rest of us didn't have a chip on the shoulder we just want to work and pay our bills so be more humble when you read our stories and i got A,B,C, in school and still am out of work did every thing now i owe over 2thou in loans...the great american dream

I could not even get my foot in the door I would have even taken $5.15 to do the job did my share of volunteer work which a lot of girls didn't do I didn't expect top pay just a chance to do the job which i have been out of school for over 4 years had to find work else where home health aid and washing dishes and yes i do have a 4 and 2 year degree so I am humble just can't find work yes there is a waiting list to wash dishes at most of the restraunts if you don't starve first yea the american dream get an education and not be able to find work when you are done a few one or two will but the rest of us worked just as hard trust me i got a 92 out of 100 on the test for RMA and did the other girls work for a year and half and could not get hired any where so go figure so had a break and they should be greatful because the rest of us were not so lucky...

I didn't care and i sent my resume out every where and took what ever. That is how i made it and through a agency. a lot don't try. only thing i can tell u is to try and don't give up. plus my response was addressing someone else who was speaking on how others were complaining and i know the ones who can't get hired feel so i WON'T knock them.i been there

You are sooooo right! We all need to call the BBB, Better Buisness Bureau, and our own Department Of Education. We should ignore the people on this site who call us crazy! They are not living our nightmare!

JODY, Do not call us crazy, How dare you! You are not living our nightmare. My school was accredited. promised 100% job placement for life. I, along with 6 friends I met at school do not have a job yet. Our school ignores us! Yes, we try hard every day ourselves, you are the crazy one! READ ON ! There are so many of us that have been lied to, We are angry enough, we don't need your harrasment. You do not understand. you are ignorant of the situation going on here. I apologize for your heartless comments! I suggest everyone ignore people like you, we need to band together, John lets go! You are 100% correct, I am sorry for her ignorance. She does not understand. C.B.S. news, 60 minutes did a story on this subject! There is a guide on this site, her name is Linda, from Ohio, L.C. are her initials, she posted the 60 minute link, go there, click on the link, be informed before you go calling people like us who have been scammed, crazy! You should be ashamed of yourself, When people are asking for help, they should not be called crazy. We all went in to this field because, we care, we want to help others. I still believe there are so many negative issues in our world today, why not vent your feelings on one of their sites..... The war, global warming, etc... go there, not here.cbsnews.comstories 2005

I do not know, but we really need one! Let's ask a wonderful guide on this site, her name is, LINDA, please help , how can we direct people to a site where we will not be harrassed! She is caring for her mother who is ill at this time. We all wish you, and your mom the best! Please, if you have the time, post the 60 minute storie, in its entirety, then maybe the lucky, seemingly rude, people will stop! The article is titled, For-Profit College: Costly Lesson, www.cbsnews.com/2005/01/31/60minutes/main670479.shtml go there, read, and post on this site. These lucky people sound like RECRUITERS, and ADMISSION REPS! We do need a place to all go! There is power in numbers. WE can do things at the same time, these scam schools must be stopped ! You will be upset after reading the article, We all need to ignore the insults directed at us, for in reality, these people just might be from these scam schools. They are a multi-billion dollar a year buisness!

I hope you all read the link on this multi-billion dollar a year business, I mean scam. I did not have to get a loan, they took my cash payments! In order for you to have recieved federal funding, your school legally should have told you, in writing, there graduating statistics. Did anyones school do that? We should write to 60 minutes, and ask them to do another. Write to your state. The Department Of Education, should help out, especially if you did not recieve this information. Tell them what the school promised you, and any thing else you know, and we know a lot! Please e-mail and tell me what you thought of the article. I was very angry too. Call the Better Business Bureau, and report your school. We might not get our money back, BUT, we can take away some of their numbers. We could also legally picket, right out in front of our schools, handing out this c.b.s. story, and comments from recent graduates. Would you have enrolled, if someone was picketing the day you went to sign up? We can make a difference. sorry for all, keep up those spirits !

I am so frustrated with all the school advertising too
when I signed up for the MA program they didnt tell me that my credits would not transfer if I wanted to go on to be an RN so I have to start all over again and I am not young I am 45 and feel that I am running out of time to get more education I need to work and I know that I am good at my career that I have choosen from all fo the PTS that I did take care of durning my exter ship and my temping I just need some one to give a chance here in CT the economy is very bad people dont have money so they just take jobs that the hate for money I am willing to wait but I cant wait much longer

Plus I think if you have bad credit like I do from my divorce and being out of a job that hurts when you are looking for hospitals I live by Yale New Haven Hospital one of the best in the world and I cant get a job

It is just very upsetting

I just went to a job fair today held at our local college you may have to do one of two things restraunt work,STNA to pay the bills for the time being or take an entry level job that is not medical assisting like patient care assistant find out who is the HR and find out what they are called most of the hospitals the lady told me hire from with in and that is the way to get your foot in you may have to wipe some butts but hey it is a job till the ecomony grows and then you can keep you eyes open for a better job while you do this and plus it adds to the resume hey i am going to do it so i can get in and i am a rma 92 on the test out of 100 and you only needed 70 to pass don't worry about some of the other girls on here they have not walked in your shoes so they got lucky and found a job good for them but the rest of us didn't and we have to do what makes us stand out from the pack...it is not all the schools as i thought there are a lot of medical assistants out there and not a lot of jobs so you
may have to start lower

Ladies here is the thing we must do is take a job to get your foot in the hospital even if it is house keeping dietary or what ever make your self stand out yes you may have to wipe butts for a while but a job is a job right now those who are picky starve or don't get the contacts. I went to a job fair and may have a job not as a medical assistant but something else but time will come plus I am going back to the school to up grade my skills hey any one like to draw blood there are a bunch of jobs for that and medical coders/billers so check those two areas and be willing to do the grunt work we are not going to walk in the door as a medical assistant look at the economy yes 8 is low but take it things will change and remember 7 months till we vote and chose wisely or the jobs will be lost forever I am a rma but have not gotten the pay check for it 92/100 was my score on the test and it has been 5 years wiped butts for 4 but still willing to look did go on some interviews so i know thanks and good luck set your self a part from the rest what ever it takes and do it

NEVER MIND MY NAME! in Long Beach, California said: bUT I TOTALY AGREE WITH JOHN, I'M FINDING THE SAME THING HAVE TO SPEAK SPANISH AND NEED TO HAVE A FEWS YEARS EXPERIENCE!!! BULL! AND AND BOY AM I MAD AFTER ALL THE LONG HARD WORK OF SCHOOL!

hey did you ever try a pateint care position in a hospital or dietary then look for jobs once you are in the hospital that may be the way to get in i am going to try that in ohio and i will let you know what happens hay a year goes by fast so things will change but right now there are a lot of girls who went to school for medical assisting. you have to set yourself apart from the rest of us what skills do you have can you draw blood, coding/billing, transcription try these or see if you can go back to the school for a refresher yes i know did take classes at the local college got a 92/100 on my rma exam so i feel the pain but i am not giving up may have to work at a differnt job while the economy is slow good luck don't get mad find entry level jobs then move up from there and take it if it pays the 7 or 8 it will lead to other jobs

Has any one clicked on this link ? What is your feedback on this story? Does it sound like your experience? This story made me feel better, it's not just you , it's a lot of us now. Too bad we didn't go in to this field 5-9 years ago ! Please tell us what you think of this story, except Michelle, and monica please.

Hey Ally!!!

My answer to that is a big ?
I even went almost 60 miles along with my mother to some job fair but....
all they told me was to apply online.
then I called those places that i send my resume's /application and they said that
they will keep me posted when there is an opening...
I used the yellow book and called every internal medicines, family practices, and hospitals...nothing.
I also waasted more money by taking the ncct testing to be a complete certified MA
sorry Ally....
let's just all pray and hope that something better will happen to people like us.
I am planning to go back to school, but a better one..I hope.
then I'm continuing my career in the medical field.
hope to be a nurse someday to make myself proud,to help people,to do something that is with a special purpose, and to get back to those asses who did this to us.
I wish you the best in life ally.....take care.
john

hey John and the ladies,
you may have to start small like hospital doing transporter, STNA or any other job to get a pay check and while you are there then you can get looking for something better the economy is bad right not but i went to the job fair and that is the way she the HR told me to get my foot in the door and then when jobs open up you have something on your resume yea wipe a few behinds but it is better than no pay check right now i am home health aid so i have done it almost 4 years and i will get into the field. take care and keep looking right now things are tight in the field.

Ally,
go to the fair you can get your resume to the hospital and there are other jobs there till you can get your foot in the door and most hospitals have a list of job openings you can check on your break and after a certain amount of time working there you can switch departments it may be 6 months or a year but that is more on the resume and the pay is little better go for it girl what you got to lose pride well you didn't lose that unless you don't go and just give up and i am not giving up i went to my schools fair and put out 5 resumes and filled out a bunch of job applications for other jobs
