I'm trying to take the CBCS exam, however I'm having trouble narrowing down what to study. Also, I was reading some posts and see alot of talk about CPC, and CCS certification... Whats the difference and are the testing topics the same?? Thank you in advance... |

I don't know if this will help but I have looked into both the CPC and CCS.

I studied this through Ocean County College in Toms River; had to learn anatomy, physiology, terminology, ICD-9 and CPT coding, medisoft billing/scheduling and transcription. Have certifications as Medical Office Specialist, Certified Billing Coding Specialist and HIPPA certifications. It's not helping me in the least, going with temp agencies. |
