I've been reading about Medical Billing/Coding and Medical Transcription posts on this site. Though, I have yet to figured out what's the best program to get into. I know it's not a get-rich system, but I'm willing to work hard and be patient. I just want to know which schools are reputable, who long a program should be to have a legit certificate in the end, and bottom line, I want to know where to start. I already know it'll take time to find a job, I at least don't want to waste time and money for a scam programs that will get me nowhere.

Both programs are being offered online which will be better for me considering my children. I can surely keep my 2 part time jobs while working on this program... which I hope I can pull it off. I pretty much just need anyone's opinion on how I can get started in a new career and what I should look forward to.

does anyone know or have references on UMA AND PENN FOSTER?
