I agree about them not wanting to pay money I have 7 and a half years expirence and I can't find a job anywhere that is going to pay you what you are worth. I've been looking for a job since really January of Last year 07 and I still haven't found one that I can use my expirence in. It's Crazy I've applied to several positions but for some reason they don't want the people that know what they are doing.

My husband is the person who wrote the very first comment at the top. My husband, Melvin, has over 5 years medical billing experience and even as s supervisor in the field and still has had a difficult time getting work in his field. He has a very well written and presentable resume and still nothing. So it has nothing to do with resumes and experience requirements for some. Then again, it just may be the cas for others, but why don't we just admit what the real problem is, the economy!!!! Thank goodness we are rid of our former president. I don't care what anyone says, a change has come! You want to teach resume writing, please be my guest. Anything to that would help our fellow people to succeed in this damaging economy would be great. So if you really have the time and want to put forth the effort, please do so. I hope your help will be beneficial as well, maybe you should try some of the high schools in the low income communities and offer your services for free to our children who will need the assitance to better themselves once they step out into this cruel, cold, world on their own in search for employment. Or, maybe you should look into those little ones eyes and tell them that their parents should "STICK OUT!" because they can't get a job to feed them! Thanks.

I graduated with honors in April of 2007. I have applied to hundreds of jobs from billing, to insurance verification, to front desk customer service, to data entry positions. Every ad I see states that they are looking for 3 - 5 years medical office experience for whatever job they are advertising and I never get a reply. I have over 30 years of customer service experience, am smart and can learn quickly. do these companies even read their email and respondants resumes? Very discouraged here in Vancouver

With all the changes in the economy and doctors feeling yet MORE of the crunch, it's my feeling that providers are going to be making MORE cut-backs and hiring outsourced solutions. Outsourcing has been a cost-savings to providers for YEARS and I think it's only going to be MORE of a benefit for them in this hurting economy.
