I have recently completed my Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology (medical records, coding), along with a medical billing diploma (with highest honors). I am looking for an opportunity to jump start my career. I am currently studying for the RHIT certification exam, and have future plans to complete my Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management. It has been difficult finding employment in Genesee County though. I have applied for numerous positions that may lead to a position more reflective to my goals, yet have had no luck. Any advice or opportunities would be much appreciated.

I have heard that Santa Barbara City College (SBCC) is really great, that their tution is pretty reasonable. I have not taken any classes myself, but we have had a couple of interns where I work who were/are attending it and they seem to know their stuff.
