Obtaining employment

I have recently graduated with an Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology from an AHIMA approved program at Davenport University (medical records and coding). I also have a diploma in medical billing. I have been applying for jobs daily, with hopes to find an opportunity to start my career. The search has not been limited to these particular positions, though. I have been applying for numerous office positions with hopes of future opportunities, yet I am not getting any requests for interviews. I am formatting my resumes and cover letters to reflect on the position opening. I am contemplating work with a temp agency, or even volunteering at a local hospital. Any suggestions or opportunities to throw in my directions would be apprecitated.
