<description>These are some good questions. 1)You code the highest degree is correct. 2-4 not 100% sure so I won&#039;t say anything about those. Will look them up. 5)I believe &#034;C&#034; although &#034;B&#034; is a huge possibility. 6)Is the doctor providing care to his wife? Not 100% but I would say &#034;B&#034; authorization needed 7 &amp; 8 not sure 9) Vitals 10)What are your choices? <description>I have received a lot of information regarding the CCA. If anyone can answer any of the following questions, I would greatly appreciate it. I&#039;ve taken the exam and failed and the &#034;trivial&#034; questions are what got me. which is what some of these are: 1. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burns of the chest wall. What is coded? The highest degree of burn is coded, correct?
2.	When  a patient is admitted who coordinates the care? (a) Intern, (b) resident, (c) primary care or (d) attending. Is Attending correct?
3.	How many ICD-9-CM codes can be reported on a CMS-1500 claim? 4? I’m reading 4 in some places and 6 in other places. Although I know there are only 4 places on the claim form. 4. How do you code a bilateral procedure on the lower extremities when the book does not specify unilateral or bilateral? 5. Coder’s child seen for injury. Coder accesses x-ray report to see if there was a fracture. This access was discovered on audit. What should the coding manager do? Options: (a) Nothing, (b) Immediately fire the coder, (c) Report the access to privacy officer, (d) Get the coder to sign authorization. 6. Doctor requests wife’s record. What should be done?
