Do you have 15 weeks to complete all 3 courses in the cluster? Is passing/failing a course based only on the final exam? Are there weekly assignments/quizzes? I just want someone that has completed this program to tell me what too expect before I sign up. |

Yes - 15 weeks for all three courses, but you don't have to take 3 courses at once if you don't want to. Final grade is based on tests and the final exam. No graded assignments or quizzes other than the tests and the final examr |

Have you gotten employment yet since you've taken the courses? I am starting classes this summer for HIT. |

I'm starting the rhit program at hutchinson community college in the fall. I currently work at a insurance company and I deal with coding on a daily but it is more with medical claims. Was wondering if it will be hard to find a job once I'm out of school. I really like medical coding and I'm really looking forward to starting school and a new career. |

I am not a hiring manager, so don't hold me to this, but I would say that your background in claims will give you an advantage. Most employers want entry level coders to have knowledge and real world experience with ICD 9 and CPT, so if you have that, it should give you an edge over other new grads. |

I actually really enjoy my job, I am not a people person and definitely don't like interacting with the general public, so me sitting at my desk, uninterrupted is a good fit for me. |

I'm a people person but I've been a customer service rep for several years now and I am ready for a change. Coding really seems like something I would like to do. |
