Yes, you should most certainly get CNPR Certified if you are looking to get into pharmaceutical sales. |

I highly advise anyone to get CNPR Certified if they want to get into pharmaceutical sales. Showing industry training is vital as selling pharmacology is very technical as you advise physicians and detail them on your pharma products. Getting that kind of trainng on your resume makes it so much easier to attract employers and get hired. |

I am confident that I possess the skills and attributes necessary for the field of Pharmaceutical sales. With the knowledge I have gained in my scientific cancer drug research and in the hospital/medcial offices as a medical student, I believe I would be successful in this field. Currently I have about 2 years of sales experience, and I would strongly consider entry level to mid-level pharmaceutical sales positions. I currently do not possess a CNPR certification, but I learn things very quickly and would be willing to get one for the job. I posess a current drivers license with a very good driving record. I have about 4-5 years of experience in drug research and design, a chemistry degree and have been in medical school for 2 years ( but am now looking for a career change). Which has provided me with pharmacology and time spent with physcians in the hospital and clinic setting. Would I be a good candidate without cnpr certification? |
