I am currently unemployed, and hoping to work in the Medical Field. My last position title: HIM Ancillary Department Coordinator, before taking on that title I was the EMERGENCY REGISTRATION CLERK SUPERVISOR in a Trauma 1 Hospital. This is my passion too work in the Medical Field, to help people in anyway I can. From face to face or even helping them retain there medical records. |

I'm trying to translate 13 + years working in the veterinary medical field to an ancillary position in a hospital. I've worked a full service lab (manual & mechanical, sample collection & processing, etc), pharmacy duties including compounding, radiology, pre & post surgery prep & circulating tech, anesthesiology, phlebotomy . . . It seems like the reception/intake/paperwork jobs are just as flooded as radiology & pharmacy. Any suggestions? Where should I consider further education or focus? |
