Hi, I got my BS in Microbiology(1996) from India thenafter I did one year of Medical laboratory certificate course(1997)in India in which besides the theroy classes we got trained in laboratory. I was also got an honors award. Moving to US I completed my Second Bachelors Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology (2007)from Cal State East Bay (Hayward) with honors. I would like to get back into Medical technology field.

You can find an MT program an enroll..although if I were you I would try to get into pharmacy school as it's a much better profession. |

Yes get into pharmacy they have standards, there is no associate level pharmacist even though the job is easy, bc of those standards they get paid 50/hour. The MT profession in this country has no standards that is why we are the lowest paid profession in allied health. There are different certs, some areas don't require a cert, different degrees to get into the field, it's pathetic. Therefore the lowest paying allied health field. California and Ny has standards so they pay pretty well. PT,OT, pharmacy all have standards and they get paid well. |
