CLS-HOPEFUL in California

So I have searched far and wide for this. So far I have not found a complete answer. My question, out of curiosity, is, "which states require CLS's to be licensed...ergo paying them well?"

Now, I know that each state is different depending on cost of living, etc. So i know that "paid well" is relative.

At least, can someone list which states require licensure? I know that other than CA, there's NY, I think NV...maybe FL? Anyway, I hope this gets answered. lol.

even though some states require licensure, it doesn't necessary mean higher pay because some smaller rules are not there. For example, NYS has a license, but u can pretty much graduate from any Med Technology School in NY (not NAACLS certified)and get licensed after the NYS ASCP exam(whether this is the same exam as the national ASCP exam, i'm not sure).

The good question is this - which states require NAACLS certified schools in order to be licensed? I think California only.........
