hi! im new here.can somebody help me pls.i need to know what state board exam does las vegas recognized for medtech.im planning to take the ASCP exam however somebody told me that it requires at least 3-5 yrs working experience before i can take the exam.its that true?

hi chu. i'm also here in Las Vegas, they accept AMT and ASCP. As i stated in my previous posting, here in Nevada, you may apply for a temporary license if you have the letter from AMT and ASCP that you can take the exam, I forgot the exact license fee, but i think it's around $100 to 130. That temp. license is good for 6 mos. Then when you have passed your AMT or ASCP, you may change to a permanent license.

hi! just read ur message. ikaw na lang magpost ng email add mo. hehe. i'm not sure if pwede kita directly sendan ng private message, other than sa email add. but anyway, accepted ng nevada ang either ASCP and AMT. kahit letter lang na mag-eexam ka, you can already apply for a temporary license. then yung sa ASCP, they suggested na ASCPi ang kunin ko kahit na i'll be seating for an exam dito sa US. di pa ko ASCP e, hintay ko pa yung reviewer nung friend ko na nag California state. similar daw dun yung ASCP kaya yun gagamitin ko. i applied online sa ASCP, i just gave my PRC license tapos nagfill up ako ng form online, tehn babayaran ko na lang. minsan it's better to call their offices, whether ASCP/AMT and the different states. =)

hi doc gie! heres my email add..chu_md03@yahoo.com.ask ko lang, i knw recognized ang ASCP sa vegas pero ganun din ba ang ASCPi(international)?nagtake ka na ba AMT kaya ASCPi na lng tatake mo?dun pala sa application form ng AMT,u told me na optional lng yung sa part III,how about yung sa Part II regarding MEDICAL LABORATORY SCHOOL?ano lalagay ko dun?since wala pa ako experience will i just leave the Part III blank on the applicatuin letter?

chu vince cruz, Just so happened to be on the job forum's and saw that you are new to Vegas. I just recently left Vegas, and I am now new to Little Rock Ar. chu vince cruz, Just a tid bit of info: North Las Vegas isn't the best area to be in btw. Try the west side or the east side towards green valley and henderson. It's so beautiful there as well. The traffic is easy to get around in too. You are so lucky. Have fun with it.
