Job as a medical transcriptionist - please

I graduated from a medical transcription program as a member of the National Honor Society. I have worked steadily and without interruption since 1994. Was laid off on June 6, 2007, sent many, many resumes, but still no job. Is there help out there?

connie since many transcription jobs have been lost to voice recognition software, try to find a job editing instead. you would listen to the original dictation and correct the words that voice recog misses. it is easy, pays well and saves your hands. i get 23/hr presently.
