Hi! I'm looking to begin a career in Medical transcription. I want to do this through an online university. Any suggestions? I also have so many questions about the career itself. Can you work from home and make average income? Say you live in VA, can you work from home but through a company in another state, or does it work that way? I live in a small town and I am concerned about job placement. Any advice you guys could give would be so wonderful!

I am currently attending Rasmussem university online in the medical transcription field and the program is great. I am also looking for work at home before of after I finish my degree could some help me as well. I do know that Rasmussen University Online is a great College to complete your degree. You can go to Rasmussen.edu/online and see what they can offer you...I hope this was some help. Far as working from home I heard it was true I guest it's just the time of searching for legit home programs...
