My manager has decided that a referral to a mental health supported housing scheme is fine. We work alone and this guy has a catalog of violent attacks and some involving knives. The most recent assault was in July 09. The man is only just turned 18 and has been in prison. This guy doesn't have a mental health diagnosis, but mental health professionals have said that since they prescribed him with Risperidol tablets, he has been calm. I am very experience in working with mental health clients, but I have to say I am a little scared about working alone with this guy. Surely this guy is not suitable to a project with lone working.
