How does one get a job doing this type of work

I just started working in merchandising part-time with a company that does not pay that well. I would like to work with a company that offers better pay and milleage and possibly more hours.

What's the best way to find the best merchandiing companies to work for?

I was magazine routeman, working for a family owned small buisness for the mid-Ga area until the owner ended up having to sell out to one of the large mag. distributors. You might not like the job so much when you see the amount of wasted mags the publishers send out, if your not a WalMart you get what they want you to sell. the mag buisness is sorta like the radio industry, the small are being forced out by the giants.

Talk to people who are doing this work i.e. the grocery store etc. I would talk to the manager of your local grocer or drug store. Talk to greeting card merchandisers...they know everyone. Hope this helps.
