Hey Guys, after 8 months, I have finally found my first Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job. It is with Texas Cardiovascular in Austin and I will be doing Cardiac, about 11-14 per day. Starting out it will be part time, 3 days a week and then covering the other offices if someone is sick or on vacation. At least it is something, and a good way to get my foot in the door so to speak. Finnaly!

Thanks Marie. Patience is a virtue I guess. This will be an excellent opportunity to get my foot in the door, and with all the medical facilities being built around Austin in the coming years, I will be more marketable If I choose to go somewhere else down the road. Finally!

Hey Saly, well everything is coming back to me. It has been 8 months since I last did Nuclear; it was at Amarillo Heart Group in Amarillo. I had plenty of Cardiac Rotation when I was there. I am getting familiar now with all the EKG recoginition so that is helping. Very busy I will say. It is a different ball game being a TECH versus a student, not as confined in what u can do! It seemed a bit overwhelming at first, but as already stated, it is coming back to me!

You will feel like it is a piece of cake in just couple of months and will totally forget of this feeling now. Hope you still enjoy it in a year or two... It sounds like your clinic is busy. That is excellent!
