how do get a SSN?

hi i am nicole yngente. im here in corona for a vacation. i passed the ielts and nclex just recently. but i dont have my license yet. california board of nursing is asking for my SSn, how do i get one? i need it to get my license here. is it possible to find a job even if i have a tourist visa?

Hi nikki. We both have the same situation. I also passed my nclex and ielts and is also here in the US as a tourist. The BON of California alsosent me the same letter saying I need to give them my SSN first before they would giveme my license. Right now, there is no open for nurse visas because of the retrogression. Are you lookingfor a sponsor? Cause I'm also looking for one. Nice meeting you here.

First off Become A LEGAL CITIZEN!!!!!!! Then you will have one and there are no more worries from there

hi abby, where are you from? can i have your email? yes i am still looking for a sponsor. sadly the immigration is still closed, it says it will be open in april 09. but we still have to keep our eyes open in case it opens.
