What do people mean by this? That the fields and expertises are flexible? Certainly it's not the hours! All the nursing jobs listed in my area seem anything but. It's all hospital shift work....which is ANYTHING but flexible. Clinics don't really seem to hire nurses, unless they are NPs; they hire CMAs (Certified Medical Assistants). How do you have a family and be a nurse at the same time?
