Does anyone know of any classes or orientation classes available for the Returning RN? I have not been at the bedside for about 6 years due to Medical Consulting then finished in Medical Sales. Thus, I have continued to be very active within my profession but no contact with patients due to lleagalities.

I know that St. Joseph's Hospital in Stockton offers a 7 or 14 day course thoughtout the year. I also have heard that Kaiser Permenente offfers a course put have never seen any literature on it to be absolute sure. Hope that helps. Stockton is a drive but is close. Sometimes the hospital that hires you will provide the week or so solid training if you are lucky enough to find you. Try an internet search. Good Luck!

Delaware County Community College offers a course, but it is face-to-face not online. Sorry
